Highland Food Pantry on Walnut

Highland Food Pantry on Walnut is operated by Highland Church of Christ and serves individuals and families in Abilene facing food insecurity, including low-income families, senior citizens, unemployed individuals, disabled veterans, and the working poor. Founded in 1986 as a small food pantry closet at Highland Church, the ministry expanded to its current Walnut Street location in 1996, becoming the first client-choice food pantry in Abilene and partnering with the West Central Texas Food Bank (Feeding America) to provide vital nutritional assistance to the community.
