Serafina Pantry at the Ladybird

Serafina Pantry at the Ladybird is a 501(c)(3) food pantry located at RBJ Senior Housing in Austin that provides free food assistance to seniors and community members in need. Founded in 2013 by Farah M. Rivera-Ortiz in honor of her grandmother, the pantry distributes thousands of pounds of food monthly, including fresh produce, meat, dairy, shelf-stable groceries, and special dietary items sourced from partnerships with Trader Joe's and the Central Texas Food Bank. The pantry works closely with the adjacent Festival Beach Community Garden to provide fresh local produce and offers support services including SNAP benefits enrollment assistance.
