Dorothy’s Hope Kitchen & Pantry

Dorothy's Hope Kitchen and Pantry is a nonprofit community kitchen in Bloomington, Texas, dedicated to alleviating food insecurity by providing free hot meals, take-home food hampers, and essential household items to those in need. Inspired by the legacy of Dorothy Ellis, a devoted nurse who served Victoria County families for 39 years, the organization began its formal operations as a permanent agency of the Food Bank of the Golden Crescent and continues to serve Bloomington and surrounding communities including Victoria and Placedo.
