Basic Food Pantry

Basic Food Pantry is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization serving Fannin County families in need through food distribution. Founded a decade ago as a federal commodity program distribution center, the organization adapted when the federal program ended in 2006 and now serves approximately 860 county residents monthly through volunteer-led operations. The pantry distributes food boxes to qualifying families and maintains innovative partnerships, including collaborating with state prison gardens to supplement produce donations.
