Bread of Life Church of the Nazarene Pantry

Bread of Life Food Pantry, operated by Bread of Life Church of the Nazarene since 1963, provides free groceries to residents of Commerce and surrounding Hunt County communities in need. The nonprofit pantry distributes nutritious food items including vegetables, beans, pasta, rice, peanut butter, cereal, bread, and fresh produce to an average of 150-190 families monthly, with a commitment to serving with dignity, compassion, and care. The pantry received the "Excellence in Inspirations" award from North Texas Food Bank in 2018 and also coordinates a delivery program for homebound residents through a partnership with First United Methodist Church.
