CitySquare Opportunity Center Food Pantry

The CitySquare Opportunity Center Food Pantry began in 1988 as the Central Dallas Food Pantry and evolved into CitySquare, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving low-income families in Dallas. The 53,000-square-foot Opportunity Center facility, established in November 2014, houses the food pantry along with workforce development, adult education, health services, and community resources designed to support residents in South and East Dallas. As of December 2024, The Stewpot acquired CitySquare's operations and continues to operate the food pantry as part of its expanded mission to serve underserved communities.
