Funky Town Fridge – Goodwill

Funky Town Fridge is a grassroots community initiative dedicated to combating food insecurity and reducing food waste in Fort Worth through mutual aid. Founded in 2020 by Kendra Richardson, the project provides accessible 24/7 community refrigerators stocked with fresh produce, essentials, and toiletries at multiple locations throughout the city, with no questions asked. The Funky Town Fridge – Goodwill location at the Goodwill North Central Texas Headquarters serves as one of several neighborhood access points in this effort to uplift food apartheid communities.
