Houston Food Bank

The Houston Food Bank is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1982 that serves as America's largest food bank by distribution, providing food and essentials to approximately 1 million food-insecure people across 18 southeast Texas counties through a network of over 1,600 community partners. In addition to food distribution, the organization operates nutrition education programs, health management services, and operates the Keegan Kitchen to prepare nutritious meals for children, while also addressing root causes of food insecurity through comprehensive support services.
