Martha’s Kitchen

Martha's Kitchen is a parish outreach ministry operated by St. Martha Catholic Church that serves nutritious hot lunches to approximately 300-350 hungry men, women, and children in Houston's Second Ward neighborhood. Established in 1992, the kitchen operates as a soup kitchen dedicated to fulfilling the spiritual and physical needs of those experiencing homelessness and food insecurity, supported by dedicated staff and volunteers from the church community and broader charitable organizations.
