Good Shepherd Mission Food Pantry

Good Shepherd Mission is the oldest and largest food pantry in Walker County, serving Huntsville residents in crisis with comprehensive support including food, clothing, temporary shelter, and counseling. The organization operates a food pantry, thrift store, and shelter program while serving two hot meals daily to both transient individuals and local community members. As a faith-based nonprofit, Good Shepherd Mission has been pioneering community support in Huntsville for many years, including being the first faith-based organization in Texas to receive a state contract for welfare reform assistance.
