David Powell Community Food Pantry

The David Powell Community Food Pantry is an outreach ministry of the Society of St. Stephen that provides essential food assistance to families within the Lindale Independent School District. The pantry, which grew from a small cabinet of canned goods and clothing started by retired Methodist minister Dr. David Powell, now serves low-income individuals and households who lack reliable access to affordable, nutritious food. The organization also offers resources including healthy recipes, information on supplemental nutrition programs, and opportunities for community members to donate food, money, or volunteer time.
