South Plains Food Bank

South Plains Food Bank is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1983 to alleviate hunger and provide hope to individuals and families facing food insecurity in West Texas. As a member of the Feeding America and Feeding Texas networks, the food bank serves 19 counties across the region through a network of more than 220 nonprofit agencies and churches, and engages thousands of volunteers annually in its mission to fight hunger. The organization operates multiple programs including food box distribution, mobile pantries, youth leadership initiatives, and community agriculture efforts.
