South Plains Food Bank

South Plains Food Bank is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1983 that serves West Texas by providing food assistance to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity across 19 counties in the region. As a member of both the Feeding America and Feeding Texas networks, the organization operates a community-based distribution center in Lubbock and offers multiple programs including emergency food boxes, mobile pantries, children's feeding programs, and senior food assistance, while engaging thousands of volunteers annually to support its mission of alleviating hunger and bringing hope to the community.
