Community Garden Kitchen of Collin County

Community Garden Kitchen of Collin County is a nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating hunger in the community by serving freshly prepared meals to anyone in need. The organization began in 2014 when a group of concerned citizens decided to take action against food insecurity in the area, and today operates a 501(c)(3) facility in McKinney that serves nutritious, chef-prepared meals in a welcoming restaurant-like setting with no paperwork or identification required. Beyond its dining program, the organization also prepares sack lunches for distribution to vulnerable populations and supplies food to area food pantries, supported by a volunteer-run garden that provides fresh produce used in meal preparation.
