Minnies Food Pantry

Minnie's Food Pantry is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2008 to provide healthy meals, educational resources, and basic necessities to families experiencing food insecurity in North Texas, including Collin and Denton counties. Named after Dr. Minnie Hawthorne-Ewing and established by Dr. Cheryl Jackson, the organization has become one of the largest food pantries in the region, having served over 3 million meals since its inception. The pantry provides fresh meats, produce, dairy products, and non-perishable items alongside its Minnie's Family Food Box program and also operates Minnie's Boutique, offering free clothing, toiletries, and household essentials to qualifying low-income families.
