Fuerza Unida Pantry

Fuerza Unida is a nonprofit organization founded in 1990 by Mexican-American women displaced from Levi Strauss & Co. factory closures in San Antonio's Southside. The organization operates a monthly food pantry that distributes groceries to over 50 families in need, in partnership with the San Antonio Food Bank, while also running multiple community programs including a sewing cooperative, community garden, and educational initiatives focused on economic, environmental, and social justice.
