Bennington Meals on Wheels

Bennington County Meals on Wheels is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing nutritious meals and wellness support to seniors over 60 and disabled adults in Bennington County. Founded in 1994, the organization delivers over 52,000 meals annually through home delivery services and community meal sites, with meals made from scratch and sourced largely from donated food from local farms and the Vermont Foodbank. The program serves homebound seniors, veterans, and individuals in recovery, supported by more than 70 dedicated volunteers who provide not only meals but also wellness checks and companionship to vulnerable community members.
