Center for an Agricultural Economy & Vermont Food Venture Center

The Center for an Agricultural Economy (CAE) is a nonprofit food systems organization founded in 2004 that operates the Vermont Food Venture Center, a shared-use commercial kitchen and business incubator for food entrepreneurs and farmers in Hardwick, Vermont. CAE supports rural communities by providing farm and food business advising, processing facilities, a farm-to-institution program called Just Cut, a local food delivery service through Farm Connex, and the Vermont Farm Fund—a community-based lending program for farmers and food producers throughout Vermont.
