Johnson Emergency Food Shelf

The Johnson Emergency Food Shelf is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1993 and incorporated in 2001 that provides emergency food assistance to residents of Johnson, Belvidere, Eden, North Hyde Park, and Waterville. The organization, staffed entirely by volunteers, participates in the federal TEFAP (Temporary Emergency Food Assistance Program) and distributes groceries, fresh produce, bakery products, and seasonal Thanksgiving ingredient baskets to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.
