Vermont Farmers Food Center

The Vermont Farmers Food Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in Rutland in 2012 that increases access and availability of locally produced food throughout the Rutland Region by expanding markets and market access, aggregating and distributing locally produced agricultural products, and offering educational programs. The organization develops agricultural infrastructure and operates the Vermont Farmers Market seasonally, while initiatives like the Farmacy Project work to address food security challenges and improve healthy food access for at-risk families in Rutland County.
