Blacksburg Interfaith Food Pantry

The Blacksburg Interfaith Food Pantry is a joint ministry of over twenty-five churches in Blacksburg that has been serving the local community and McCoy area since 1987. As a program of New River Community Action, the pantry provides monthly food assistance to qualified residents and anyone in financial crisis, including low-income families, seniors, veterans, and those experiencing homelessness, while also offering limited personal hygiene products. The pantry operates as a volunteer-driven nonprofit supported by local churches, individuals, organizations, and community partners including Virginia Tech, local farms, and grocery stores, reflecting deep roots in interfaith and community collaboration.
