Faces Food Pantry

FACES Food Pantry is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization founded in 1981 by ministers, farmers, teachers, and community members dedicated to addressing food insecurity in the Farmville-Prince Edward County area. Located at 482 Commerce Road, Farmville, Virginia, the organization provides emergency and supplementary food assistance to qualified residents through weekly distributions, a backpack program for school children, and a marketplace shopping option where clients can select their own food items. Since its inception in a cramped storage room above a shoe repair shop, FACES has grown to become one of the largest food agencies in Virginia, serving over 1,300 households annually and distributing food packages averaging 30+ pounds per household that include fresh produce, proteins, staples, and other essential items.
