Fredericksburg United Methodist Church

Fredericksburg United Methodist Church, located at 308 Hanover Street in Fredericksburg, Virginia, is a historic Methodist congregation officially constituted in 1802 with Methodist meetings beginning in the community as early as 1800. The church sanctuary was constructed in 1882 as a Gothic Revival structure, representing the fifth building used by the congregation, with notable additions completed in 1912, 1924, 1951, and 1989. As part of the Virginia Conference of the United Methodist Church, the congregation serves the local community through regular worship services, youth and children’s ministries, and various community engagement programs.
