Rockfish Gap Food Pantry

The Rockfish Gap Food Pantry is a community-based food assistance program in Greenwood that provides nutritious food to needy individuals and families in Albemarle and Nelson counties as a partner agency of the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank. Originally known as the Bread Fund with roots dating back decades, the pantry relocated to its current location in Fall 2022 to a more centralized and accessible space. The organization operates exclusively through volunteers, many of whom are members of Emmanuel Greenwood and Holy Cross churches, and serves the community as a ministry of the Emmanuel Bread Fund.
