Lamb’s Basket

LAMB’s Basket is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit food pantry located at 8419 Oakview Avenue in Henrico, Virginia, established in 2002 to address food insecurity among county residents. Founded by Lakeside area churches under the leadership of Pastor Eric Moehring, the organization operates as an acronym for Lakeside Area Ministries Board and provides free food assistance to qualified Henrico County residents through referrals from churches, social services agencies, and Feedmore, as well as walk-in clients. The pantry maintains strong community partnerships, receiving food donations from major retailers including Costco, Aldi’s, Walmart, Kroger, and others, and relies on volunteers and a board of directors to sustain its operations and mission.
