FLRD Community Food Pantry

The Fluvanna Leaders for Race & Diversity (FLRD) Community Food Pantry is a nonprofit organization that opened two years ago to serve residents experiencing food insecurity in Fluvanna, Goochland, Cumberland, Buckingham, and Louisa counties, as well as Charlottesville. Operating as a choice pantry model, the organization allows visitors to select fresh produce, meat, pantry staples, and frozen goods to meet their individual needs. Co-sponsored by the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank and USDA-affiliated, FLRD serves more than 100 community members each week and welcomes volunteers to support its mission of strengthening local families.
