VCU Ram Pantry

The Ram Pantry is a food security initiative operated by Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond that provides emergency food assistance to VCU students experiencing financial hardship. Established in 2014, the pantry has expanded to include satellite locations across campus and received a $500,000 USDA grant to reduce food waste while improving access to nutritious meals for students in need.
