Christian Soldiers Food Pantry

Christian Soldiers Food Pantry is a faith-based nonprofit food pantry serving Roanoke and Vinton residents, providing free emergency food assistance to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. Founded over two decades ago by Pastor David Burgess of 17th Street Baptist Church, the pantry operates on a client-choice model where visitors select the food items they need, and now serves approximately 100 people daily through its volunteer-run operation.
