Feeding Southwest Virginia Community Solutions Center

Feeding Southwest Virginia Community Solutions Center is a nonprofit food pantry that opened in May 2018 in Roanoke's Northwest neighborhood, serving as a community hub that offers meal preparation training, a healthy client-choice pantry, children's feeding programs, and community meeting space. The center was developed through a partnership between the Northwest Roanoke community, Feeding Southwest Virginia, the City of Roanoke, Food Lion, and Roanoke Police, transforming a location that was once the highest crime address in the city into a resource dedicated to combating food insecurity and poverty.
