Salt of the Earth Food Blessing – Arlington

Salt of the Earth Food Blessing is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit food bank based in Arlington that distributes over one million pounds of free food annually to individuals and families across Snohomish County. Founded in 1992 by Sandra Richards to serve homeless youth in Everett, the organization has grown to operate six community food distribution locations and provide food drops at mercy housing and senior facilities. Run by volunteers with a faith-based mission to serve those experiencing food insecurity without requiring documentation or eligibility verification, the organization partners with Food Lifeline and local grocery stores to provide food assistance to the community.
