About
White Center Food Bank is a nonprofit organization founded in the mid-1970s to address hunger in the White Center and Highline neighborhoods of Seattle. The food bank works to minimize hunger while nourishing community, nurturing self-reliance, and embracing cultural diversity, serving over 3,000 households monthly through direct food distribution, home delivery, senior programming, and mobile pop-up food banks. As a woman-of-color-led organization, White Center Food Bank is committed to creating an inclusive environment where community members see themselves reflected in staff and services while providing culturally responsive food assistance to the greater Seattle area.
