Cougar Food Pantry

The Cougar Food Pantry is a resource program operated by Washington State University Vancouver that provides free food and essential supplies to currently enrolled WSU Vancouver students and Clark College Nursing students studying on the WSU Vancouver campus. Founded in fall 2012 in response to a financial aid system issue that left students without meal access, the pantry has grown significantly to address ongoing food insecurity among students, with usage increasing 85 percent between fall 2023 and fall 2024. In spring 2025, the pantry expanded to a larger space and partnered with the Clark County Food Bank network to increase the volume and consistency of available food while reducing operating costs.
