Washtucna Food Bank at the Washtucna Heritage Museum

The Washtucna Food Bank operates as part of the Washtucna Heritage Museum, a 501(c)3 nonprofit established in 2015 dedicated to preserving local history in eastern Washington. The food bank distributes groceries to families from the Washtucna, Ralston, Benge, and Hooper areas, offering both general food assistance and commodities for low-income households. Founded in 2019 and staffed by dedicated volunteers and a community board, the food bank represents a key community service provided alongside the museum's preservation mission.
