Spokane Tribe Of Indians — Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR)

The Spokane Tribe of Indians Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) administers a federal food assistance program serving the Spokane and Kalispel reservations from its Wellpinit location. Operating as part of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food and Nutrition Service, the program provides nutritious food to eligible low-income households in the service area, with special support for homebound elderly and handicapped individuals. The program serves members of the Spokane Tribe and the broader Wellpinit community as part of the tribe's commitment to self-sufficiency and community health.
