Mountaineer Food Bank

Mountaineer Food Bank is a nonprofit organization founded in 1981 to fight hunger across West Virginia. As a Feeding America member and the state's largest emergency food provider, the organization distributes over 22 million meals annually to families, seniors, veterans, and individuals across 48 West Virginia counties through its network of partner agencies and direct programs including mobile pantries, the Veterans Table program, and backpack initiatives. The food bank sources food from retailers, manufacturers, government agencies, community donations, and local growers, then distributes these resources through partner food pantries and community feeding programs.
