Grantsburg Area Food Shelf

Grantsburg Area Food Shelf is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization run by nine area churches that has served families and individuals in the Grantsburg School District since 1992. Located at 320 South Brad Street between the Library and Village Hall Office, the food shelf distributes free food to eligible individuals and families based on federal poverty guidelines, opening Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and by appointment for emergencies. Funded entirely through donations from churches, community businesses, individuals, and grants, the organization relies on volunteer support to provide personalized shopping experiences where clients select their own food items.
