Freedom House

Freedom House Ministries is a 501(c)(3) Christian-based nonprofit organization founded in 1992 that serves as the only homeless shelter in the Green Bay area exclusively dedicated to families with dependent children, including single mothers, fathers, and couples. Located at 2997 St. Anthony Drive with an additional transitional housing campus called The Bridge at 840 N. Taylor Street, Freedom House provides emergency shelter, three meals daily, clothing, case management, and skills training including budgeting, parenting, and employment coaching to help families achieve self-sufficiency. Since its founding as a four-bedroom house serving four families, the organization has expanded significantly and has served nearly 1,300 families and 2,500 children, with 92 percent successfully transitioning to stable housing and independence.
