Oneida Nation — Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR)
About
The Oneida Nation Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) provides USDA Foods to income-eligible households living on the Oneida reservation and to Native American households in designated areas near the reservation. As part of a 2018 Farm Bill pilot program, the Oneida Nation has partnered with the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin to source locally grown and produced foods, including ground beef, bison, apples, wild rice, and fish from tribal and Native vendors, enhancing the traditional USDA food package distributed to eligible tribal members.
