Backpack Food Program

The Backpack Food Program in Ladysmith is a community-based initiative hosted by Hope Lutheran Church that provides two meals a day plus snacks for children during weekends to help those who might otherwise go hungry. The program partners with Feed My People Food Bank to purchase food at discounted rates and operates through donations from individuals, churches, community organizations, and corporate sponsors, with all contributions being tax-deductible.
