Grace Episcopal Church is a historic Episcopal congregation located at 116 W Washington Ave on Madison’s Capitol Square, established in 1839 and housing a Gothic Revival-style building constructed between 1855-1858. The church serves the Madison community through traditional worship services and extensive outreach programs including a downtown food pantry, social justice advocacy, jail ministries, and support for those experiencing homelessness. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Grace remains the oldest Episcopal church in Madison and features one of the city’s finest pipe organs with 1902 pipes.
