Little Free Pantry

Little Free Pantry is a community-based food security initiative founded by Jessica McClard that provides free access to nonperishable foods, personal care items, and other necessities through small outdoor boxes. Operating on the “take what you need, leave what you can” principle, Little Free Pantries are located throughout Madison and the surrounding area, offering accessible food assistance 24/7 without requiring paperwork or proof of need. The movement has grown significantly since its inception, inspiring multiple pantries across Wisconsin and serving as a vital resource for addressing food insecurity in Madison neighborhoods.
