Madison Christian Community – Community of Hope UCC and Advent Lutheran, ELCA

Madison Christian Community is an ecumenical partnership between Advent Lutheran Church (ELCA) and Community of Hope United Church of Christ (UCC) in Madison, Wisconsin. Since 1968, the two congregations have shared a church building, common budget, and collaborative ministries including religious education, worship services, and community outreach. Both congregations are open and affirming communities that welcome people of all ages, abilities, races, gender identities, and sexual orientations, and together they host a monthly Transgender Community Meal while also supporting the Harvest of Hope Fund, which provides financial assistance to Wisconsin farm families in crisis.
