Porchlight, Inc.

Porchlight, Inc. is a nonprofit organization founded in 1985 that serves as the largest affordable housing provider in Dane County, Wisconsin. Located in Madison with administrative offices at 306 North Brooks Street and 4 South Blair Street, Porchlight operates 350 housing units across 26 sites and provides emergency shelter, eviction prevention programs, job training, outreach services, and supportive case management to homeless and low-income individuals and families. The organization was established by concerned members of Madison’s faith communities to address homelessness in the community and continues its mission to reduce homelessness through collaboration and comprehensive support services.
