Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin is a nonprofit organization founded in 1986 that serves as southwestern Wisconsin’s largest hunger relief charity, meeting nearly one million emergency food requests annually across 16 counties. Located at 2802 Dairy Drive in Madison, the organization works to end hunger through community partnerships, food distribution to partner agencies, promotion of food assistance programs, and awareness initiatives. As a member of Feeding America, the nation’s leading domestic hunger-relief organization, Second Harvest relies on dedicated community volunteers and support to serve approximately 141,000 people struggling with food insecurity each year.
