The River Food Pantry

The River Food Pantry is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that has been serving Dane County since 2006, establishing itself as South Central Wisconsin's busiest food pantry. The organization provides free groceries, prepared meals, online ordering, and mobile meal services to food-insecure families, seniors, veterans, and those experiencing homelessness throughout the region, currently serving thousands of individuals each week. Founded on the principles of respect, compassion, and community generosity, The River has grown from its origins as community-organized dinners and a small emergency pantry to a comprehensive food security organization that partners with local retailers to recover and redistribute food while building a stronger, fully nourished community.
