The Salvation Army of Dane County

The Salvation Army of Dane County is a nonprofit organization based in Madison, WI that has served local residents in need for over 130 years. The organization provides comprehensive social services including emergency family shelters, women’s shelters, food pantries, spiritual ministry, and youth programs, with the goal of offering material comfort, physical comfort, and spiritual/emotional support to the homeless, hungry, and hurting without discrimination. The Salvation Army operates its Dane County Social Services Center at 630 E. Washington Ave. and serves the community’s most vulnerable through case management and programs designed to improve life skills and circumstances with compassion and care.
