Lakeshore CAP Inc.

Lakeshore CAP Inc. is a nonprofit organization founded in 1966 as the Washington Island Community Service Council and now serves Door, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, and Sheboygan counties with programs focused on promoting economic self-sufficiency and well-being for low to moderate-income individuals and families. Operating from its location at 702 State Street in Manitowoc, the organization offers services including family development programs, emergency housing and homelessness assistance, food and nutrition services, and owner-occupied housing management. Lakeshore CAP’s comprehensive community involvement includes serving thousands of households annually through various social and economic support initiatives.
