St John’s Place home of Grow It Forward

Grow It Forward is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization located at St. John’s Place (1501 Marshall Street) in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, dedicated to growing, teaching, feeding, and connecting the local food community. The organization acquired the historic church facility in 2019 and transformed it into a community food center that operates an indoor hydroponic farm, food pantry, farmers markets, community gardens, and food skills programs to provide dignified access to healthy food while supporting local food entrepreneurs through a shared-use commercial kitchen.
