About

Hope House of Milwaukee is a nonprofit emergency homeless shelter, rapid rehousing facility, and community center located on the near south side of Milwaukee. Founded in 1987 by five local churches to address homelessness in the area, Hope House has evolved into a comprehensive service provider offering emergency shelter, permanent supportive housing, a low-cost medical clinic, food pantry, and youth and adult education programs. The organization serves more than 6,000 people annually and partners with local organizations including the United Way of Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha County to provide flexible financial support and case management for families experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
