Milwaukee Rescue Mission

The Milwaukee Rescue Mission is a nonprofit organization headquartered at 830 N 19th Street in Milwaukee that has served the community since 1893, providing emergency assistance including meals, shelter, and clothing to men, women, and children experiencing homelessness and poverty. Operating two primary shelter programs—Safe Harbor for men and Joy House for women and children—the organization delivers approximately 340,000 meals and over 67,000 nights of lodging annually while offering transformative long-term support through education, job training, addiction recovery services, and spiritual guidance. Beyond emergency services, the Milwaukee Rescue Mission operates Cross Trainers Academy, a K-12 Christian school for at-risk children, and the Equip community resource program serving the Lindsay Heights neighborhood.
